Financial Support
Our campus minister, Eric Lipscomb, effectively works as a "domestic missionary" sent to Columbia University to tell students about the hope found in Jesus Christ, and to care for these young men and women during their college years. The Lipscombs and the ministry of Columbia RUF are dependent on the generosity and financial partnership of God's people who desire to invest in bringing the gospel now to some of our world's future leaders and influencers. If you'd like to join us in this mission by financially supporting Columbia RUF, you can make a one-time or recurring donation via the web by pressing Give Online and selecting "Columbia University" from the drop-down box. If you would like more specific instructions on how to donate electronically, make a pledge, setup a stock transfer, or if you'd prefer to mail in a check, click How to Give for more information.
Prayer Support
We also believe that the Lord hears our prayers and that He works through them, so we desperately covet your prayer for the ministry of RUF at Columbia University. You can pray for stamina and boldness for Eric, that students would be captivated by the love of Jesus Christ, and that they would then extend that love to the rest of our campus and city. If you'd like more information about praying for our ministry's specific needs, please sign up to Receive Our Updates.
Volunteer
Finally, if you live and work in New York City we'd love for you to consider volunteering with Columbia RUF and/or being a part of our mentoring team. We have a great need for men and women who can devote some time and energy to serving students during this particularly formative time in their lives. We have five roles that volunteers can participate in: Administration, Development/Fundraising, Hospitality, Student Mentor, and Host. If you're interested in helping in some way, please fill out the Volunteer Information Form. Thanks!
